Studs and duds from Falcons/Ravens game

Thursday night's game between the Falcons and Ravens was the first Thursday night of the season, so hopefully fantasy owners had their lineups set.

The Falcons defeated the Ravens 26-21, and there were a few studs.

Falcons WR Roddy White had a big game with 12 receptions for 138 yards and 2 TDs. QB Matt Ryan also had a great game with 316 yards and 3 TDs.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco had a good day with 215 yards and 3 TDs. WRs Anquan Boldin, Derrick Mason and TE Todd Heap all had TD receptions.

There were also some duds Thursday night, particularly with the running backs.

Falcons RB Michael Turner had a season-low 39 yards on 17 carries. Falcons backup RB Jason Snelling, though, had 6 receptions for 56 yards and a TD.

Ravens RB Ray Rice finished with just 59 yards, while Willis McGahee only had 8 yards.

Titans get Moss just in time

The Titans were the only team to put in a claim for wide receiver Randy Moss, and it couldn't have come at a better time for them.

Moss will have an extra week to get familiar with the Titans, because of the bye week. Also Moss move right into the No. 1 WR slot with the injury to WR Kenny Britt.

Britt left last week's game against the Chargers with a hamstring, and will miss four weeks with the injury, according to reports.

Moss will be a threat on the field, but will see constant double teams, so his fantasy value won't change much. Owners should consider Moss a No. 2 WR.

The player who will benefit most from the acquisition of Moss will be WR Nate Washington.

Washington, who has 351 yards and 4 TDs, should see an increase in production with all the intention on Moss.

RB Chris Johnson should also see an increase in productive, because teams will not be able to stack the box against.
